The project is expected to be completed completely and put into operation by January 2024. Q1 Results: Inox Wind Reports 85% Increase In Revenue Noida-based wind energy service provider company, Inox Wind has won an order for a 200 MW worth project of wind power from NTPC Renewable Energy. Inox Wind will be commissioned for this wind project at the Dayapar site, Kutch District in Gujarat. “This amongst many more in the future will help NTPC achieve its target of having over 60 GW Renewable Energy capacity constituting nearly 50% of its overall power generation capacity by 2032,” the company state read. The project, scheduled for commissioning by January 2024, will be executed on a turnkey basis. Inox Wind will supply and install DF 113/92 – 2.0 MW capacity wind turbine generators which will boast of 113 meters rotor diameter and 92 meters hub height. Common infrastructure facilities like the 220 KV Pooling Substation at Dayapar and Extra High Voltage Transmission line have been commissioned already. The project will be carried out on a plug-and-play basis with a shorter gestation period. As per Inox Wind Energy, being provided various industry opportunities coupled with several government initiatives like ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ along with the launch of the world’s largest Hybrid Renewable Energy Park of 30 GW at Khavda Village in Kutch in Gujarat, the wind energy company is well positioned to thrive in the future. It intends to play a pivotal role in achieving India’s ambitious renewable energy target, it claims. Commenting on the occasion Kailash Tarachandani, CEO of Inox Wind, said “This 200 MW project is the second project awarded by NTPC to INOX Wind in the recent past, post a 150 MW order received last year. A few years ago, INOX Wind also successfully executed a 50 MW turnkey wind project for NTPC in Gujarat.” Earlier, Inox Wind had bagged a 150 MW wind power project order from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. The project was also executed on a turnkey basis at the Dayapar site in Kutch district, Gujarat.
