Ingeteam Inverters to Power 125 MW Australian PV power plant By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Wed, Jun 21st, 2017 For this solar PV project Ingeteam has supplied sixty-nine 1,500 Vdc photovoltaic inverters, each with a rated power output of 1,600 kW, pertaining to the INGECON SUN PowerMax B Series family Ingeteam has supplied 23 of its 4.8 MW power stations for the Clare Solar Farm project, located in the Australian state of Queensland. This 100 MWAC (125 MWDC) project, conducted by Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), is being constructed by the Australian EPC, Downer EDI. The energy generated by this solar plant, which is still at the construction stage, is to be injected into the distribution network operated by the Origin Energy electricity company. For this solar PV project Ingeteam has supplied sixty-nine 1,500 Vdc photovoltaic inverters, each with a rated power output of 1,600 kW, pertaining to the INGECON SUN PowerMax B Series family. The 1,500 Vdc technology is capable of producing a power output of up to 1,800 kW with a single 1,500 Vdc inverter said the company in a statement. The solution, in the form of a power station, comprises three of these inverters housed in a 40 foot container, in addition to a power transformer, low voltage switchgear, medium voltage switchgear and auxiliary services panel. This is all supplied on a turnkey basis in order to ensure immediate, simple installation and field commissioning.
