Indian Oil Tenders for 150 kW Solar System in UP Indian Oil Issues Bid For Solar Projects In Rajasthan And Gujarat

The Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has issued a tender for the commissioning of a solar power system at the firms’ LPG bottling plant in Kanpur, UP.

The Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has issued a tender for the commissioning of a solar power system at the firms’ LPG bottling plant in Kanpur, UP.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning of the ground-mounted on-grid solar PV system. The developers will also be required to provide maintenance services for the plant for a period of five years.

The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 60.7 lakh and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 61 thousand along with their bids. As per the document, exemption from payment of EMD shall be allowed to all Micro & Small parties registered with an agencies/ bodies as per Public Procurement Policy for Micro & Small Enterprises(MSE) Order 2012.

The last date for bid submission is May 15, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on May 18, 2020.

In April, the firm had issued a tender, seeking eligible bidders for the comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for its 600 kW rooftop solar PV system at its Mathura Refinery. As per the tender documents, the most important objective of the Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract job shall be to get the designed results of the solar PV power system in addition to the normal maintenance activities covered in the Comprehensive AMC. The Contractor shall be responsible for all the required activities for the successful running, optimum energy generation as well as maintenance of associated facilities.

In December 2019, the firm had issued a tender for the deployment of a 130 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power plant at its small can filling plant in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

In November, IOCL had issued a tender for the commissioning of 600 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power projects at the firms’ Gujarat Refinery Township. In October, IOCL had issued a tender, seeking bids from eligible bidders for the commissioning of a 170 kWp grid-connected rooftop solar power plant at the firms’ Una Terminal in Himachal Pradesh.

In August, the oil corporation had revealed its plans to invest Rs 25,000 crore in clean energy projects, including solar and wind power plants, biofuels plants, and solar panels at filling stations.
