IIM- Trichy to set up a 2 MW solar power plant on its new campus in Chinna Suriyur village By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Jan 17th, 2017 The solar power plant at IIM-T’s new campus will be installed at an estimate of Rs. 14.2 crore IIM-Trichy is gearing up to install 2MW solar power plant on its new campus in Chinna Suriyur on Tirchy-Pudukottai road. The solar power plant will be installed at an estimate of Rs. 14.2 crore. IIM- Trichy signed a MoU with power PSU Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) one of the navatrna enterprises of the Government of India for financial assistance. The MoU was signed between Prafulla Agnihotri, Director, IIM-Tiruchi and P. V. Ramesh, Chairman and Managing Director of REC in New Delhi on Monday.
