IBC Solar & Enphase Energy Partner for Microinverters, Storage Systems By Bhoomika Singh/ Updated On Wed, May 5th, 2021 Germany based solar system provider, IBC Solar has announced its partnership with a global energy technology company, Enphase Energy to add microinverters and energy storage systems to its product range with immediate effect. Enphase Energy is a global energy management technology company that delivers smart, easy-to-use solutions that manage solar generation, storage, and communication on one intelligent platform. It supplies microinverter-based solar storage systems. This partnership facilitates IBC to offers its customers even more options for quick and easy solar system planning and installation. The microinverters are compatible with almost all module types and are particularly suitable for residential rooftops. To conveniently execute the installation of the device, the system provider will also soon offer a new clip solution for IBC Solar mounting systems. This enables the inverters to be mounted without tools, as the clip solution is simply clicked into the mounting rails. Enphase Energy and Sunnova Expand Partnership to Include Battery Storage Also Read Highlighting the perks of microinverters, Senior Vice President Supply Chain Management of IBC Solar, Britta Beier explains, “Microinverter systems offer numerous advantages for installers and end customers from a technological perspective.” He further adds, “With a 25-year limited warranty on its microinverters, Enphase’s system stands for the highest reliability and thus meets IBC Solar’s high-quality standards. The compatibility with all our modules and mounting systems fits our system concept and the fast, uncomplicated plug-and-play installation creates advantages for our premium partners.” Incorporated with microinverters, each solar module will have its own inverter and all of them are connected at 230V level using a pre-assembled cable, unlike a conventional system. This new arrangement has many perks coming with it like extensive string design is no longer necessary and shading is compensated for in the best possible way. It allows numerous modules to get added and makes the system easy to expand. Enphase and Q CELLS Announce AC Module Partnership Also Read Along with the microinverters, Enphase’s new storage system ‘Encharge’ will also be available from IBC Solar, expected to start from summer 2021. Solar installers would be using Enphase Storage systems for new installations, as well as for retrofitted systems. Enphase is one of a few manufacturers in Europe that will offer both solar and storage products.
