HPPCL Issues Tender For 13 MW Solar Project In Solan HPPCL Invites Bids To Set Up 13 MW Solar Project In Solan

The Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) has now released a tender seeking bids to set up a 13 MW (AC) solar project in Sanerh, Solan in Himachal Pradesh. HPPCL invited bids to design, supply, and construct the project which is expected to be completed in the next eight years.

The last date and time to download the bidding/tender document is 16th August 2024 and the earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs. 1.6 crore is the bid security amount for this tender.

This bid follows the same pattern as HPPCL’s previous tender for setting up a 13 MW (AC), at Majra and Dabhota II, in Solan Himachal Pradesh. For that project, HPPCL placed the same earnest money deposit (EMD) at Rs 1.6 crore for the bidder.

This project follows the same pattern as HPPCL’s previous tender, by setting the bidder’s experience in O&M of at least one year in one solar PV project with a minimum capacity of 3.25 MW in the last 10 years.

However, the HPPC’s latest tender placed the minimum average turnover for this project at Rs. 39.31 crore from operations excluding other income, for the last three financial years i.e. FY 2021-22 to FY 2023-24.

The earlier tender in Solan placed a higher financial turnover than the recent tender. HPPC’s earlier tender, placed the financial capabilities and the minimum average annual turnover of Indian Rupees 40 Crore from operations excluding other income, for the last three Financial Years i.e. FY 2020-21 to FY 2022-23.
