Hoymiles Micro-Inverters Make an Impression at the REV Expo, Chandigarh

Chinese solar inverter firm Hoymiles, a global leader in Solar Microinverter and Energy Storage Solutions, made a strong impression at the Renewable Energy & Electric Vehicles (REV) Expo in Chandigarh from March 7th to 9th. Partnering with its Authorized Distributor, Sun Solista, it had showcased its latest innovations in microinverters and smart solar technology to a highly engaged audience. Microinverters, hitherto limited to a very small niche in the solar market due to their perceived high cost, are being pushed as a quality solution for mainstream solar now, thanks to Hoymiles value pricing.

Visitors to the Hoymiles booth expressed keen interest in Hoymiles’ high-performance microinverters and advanced energy solutions. Chandigarh currently has an installed solar capacity of 69 MW, fronted  by the Chandigarh Renewable Energy and Science and Technology Promotion Society (CREST). The city is supposed to have solar at every plot measuring 200 Square yards or more. A solar power plant can only be installed in a building with a minimum electricity load of two kilowatts.

“The response at the REV Expo is fantastic. We are thrilled to witness strong enthusiasm for Hoymiles’ solutions, which are designed to make solar energy more accessible, efficient, and intelligent” Manish Kaushik, Director, Sun Solista.

Chandigarh also has one of the highest EV penetration rates in the country at close to 15%, with increasing indications that users are seeing benefits in combining EV charging with rooftop solar.
