Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Issues Tender for Supply of 5 MW Solar Project

Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has invited bids for the design, supply, construction and erection testing commissioning and operation and maintenance for 08 years of 10 MW AC solar power project at Gondpur Bulla, Una.

The last date and time to download bidding/ tender documents is May 19, 2023 at 1200 Hrs. The last date and time for bis submission is May 19, 2023 at 1300 Hrs. Technical bids open on May 19, 2023 at 1500 Hrs. The date and time for opening of financial bids is yet to be decided.

The EMD is Rs 10,000000.

Scope of work

The Scope of works of the contractor under the contract shall involve end to end delivery of the commissioned plant to HPPCL, which will include (but not limited to) the development of and, design, engineering, procurement of equipment and material, testing at manufacturer’s works, packing and forwarding, transportation, supply, receipt and unloading at site, storage, insurance at all stages, associated civil works, electrical works, services, permits, licenses, installation, erection, testing, commissioning, performance demonstration and operational acceptance of 10 MW (AC) grid Interactive solar PV power plants on turnkey basis along with comprehensive Operation & Maintenance of 08 (eight) years thereafter.

The scope of the contractor shall be deemed to include all equipment, materials and services which although are not specifically mentioned in the bid documents and/or in contractor’s proposal but are necessary for the satisfactory operation of the solar PV system and its integration with evacuation system provided by State Electricity Authority(s)/ STU.

HPPCL is also in the process of setting up a 10 MW Solar Power Project at Aghlor in district Una of Himachal Pradesh.

The Himachal Pradesh government has set a target to install 500 MW of solar power plants in the Himalayan state in the 2023-24 financial year. HPPCL has been obligated to install 200 MW out the targeted capacity. HIMURJA requires to set up 150 MW.
