Himachal Pradesh Power Corp Invites Bids for Supply of 32 MW Solar Power Project

The EMD is Rs 3.70 cr. The document fee is Rs 15,000.

The last date for submission of bids is 25.03.2023.

The scope of works of the contractor under the contract shall involve end to end delivery of the commissioned plant to HPPCL, which will include (but not limited to) the development of land, design, engineering, procurement of equipment and material, testing at manufacturer’s works, packing and forwarding, transportation, supply, receipt and unloading at site, storage, insurance at all stages, associated civil works, electrical works, services, permits, licenses, installation, erection, testing, commissioning, performance demonstration and operational acceptance of 32 MW (AC) grid interactive solar PV power plants on turnkey basis along with comprehensive operation & maintenance of 8 (eight) years thereafter.

The scope of the contractor shall be deemed to include all equipment, materials and services which although are not specifically mentioned in the bid documents and/or in contractor’s proposal but are necessary for the satisfactory operation of the solar PV system and its integration with evacuation system provided by State Electricity Authority(s)/ STU.

Recently, HPPCL invited bids for the hiring of a consultant/consultancy firm to provide the consultancy services for preparation of Site/Pre Feasibility Report (PFR) and Detailed Project Report (DPR) for grid-connected ground mounted solar power projects in Himachal Pradesh.

The Himachal Pradesh government has set a target to install 500 MW of solar power plants in the Himalayan state in the 2023-24 financial year. HPPCL has been obligated to install 200 MW out the targeted capacity. HIMURJA requires to set up 150 MW and the rest is yet to be decided.
