Besides, solar lights would be installed at all public health centres and Anganwadi Centres by October this year. A solar power plant of 24 MW capacity would be set up at a cost of Rs 137 crore. It would generate 36 million units of electricity annually and result in saving of Rs 21.60 crore, he said. “Solar power plants would be installed on the rooftops of all senior secondary schools in Haryana,” he stated.
