Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran is seeking bids for the development of 2.7 MW of grid-connected solar power plants at various locations, i.e. STP, WTP, Water Works, etc., in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Naraingarh, and Kaithal. Pic Courtesy: Next2Sun GMBH Two new tenders have been issued to seek applications for the development of solar power plants, totalling 4.7 MW capacity, at various locations in Haryana. Tender 1: Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (UHBVN) has invited bids from interested farmers, panchayats, co-operatives, farmer producer organizations (FPO), and water user associations (WUA) of the UHBVN for the setting up of decentralized grid-connected ground/stilt solar PV power plants, with capacity of 500 kW to 2 MW, to be connected to respective sub-stations of rural areas notified by UHBVN. Solar power plants may be developed, preferably by individual farmers, utilizing their barren/marshy land. Agricultural land is also permitted under the scheme, provided that solar plants are installed in stilt fashion. The total aggregate capacity of solar power plants to be setup under EOI is 23 MW + 5 MW for Solar City Panchkula = 28 MW. Solar PV power plants of capacity from 500 kW to 2 MW to be set up under this scheme which will be connected to 33/11 kV, 66/11 kV and 132/11 kV substation. The land requirement for setting up a solar power plant shall be 4 acres per MW. The Solar Power Plants will be installed preferably within 5 km radius of respective substations The solar power generated by the plant shall be purchased by HPPC at the pre-fixed levelized tariff of Rs.3.11/kW as notified by Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission. Details of Fees, Earnest Money and Schedule for submission of applications: Financial Eligibility: Considering 4 Crores per MW to be the cost for installation of the Solar Power Plant, the applicant will have to show details of proportionate funds for at least 30% of the cost of the capacity applied. Details may be in the form of proof of savings or arrangement through banks/financial institutions. In case of developer, the Net-Worth of the developer for the financial year ended on 31.03.2021 should not be less than Rs. 1.00 Crore per MW (of the capacity applied).
