The last date for submitting the bid for this 600 MW solar power project is November 15, 2022, & bids will be opened on November 18, 2022. This 600 MW solar tender includes the scope of the work of setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 3,54,000 (including 18% GST) as a bid processing fee. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 4 Lakh per MW as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee. The awarded bidder must provide Rs. 9,44,000 as a performance bank guarantee (PBG) after the issuance of the letter of intent and before signing the power purchase agreement (PPA). With the chosen bidders, GUVNL will sign a PPA that will last for 25 years starting on the project’s anticipated commercial operation date. Only bids in multiples of 100 MW, starting at a minimum of 100 MW, will be accepted.
