SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a SJVN Limited subsidiary sought to develop GETCO-connected wind power project with the operation and maintenance for 10 years. SGEL sought bids till 13th November 2024.

To build this project, the developers are expected to use the ‘Revised List of Models & Manufacturers’ listed Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) as issued by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). On the commissioning of the project the bidder is expected to identify and acquire the land and undertake the feasibility to establish wind power project. The bidder is also expected to develop land for setting up Wind Power Project and undertake the transfer of title/lease deed to SGEL. Under the right of way, the developer is also look for the site/Power Evacuation System, Right of Use of shared facilities, micro-siting, design, engineering, procurement of equipment and material.

Additionally, to develop this project, the bidders are also expected to obtain all necessary statutory clearances for the land and the wind power project activities including coordination and liaison with the government agency. Additionally, responsibilities like undertaking micrositing design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, supply, transportation, and power evacuation facility up to Grid Substation falls under the purview of the bidder. The project is expected to be successful bidder within 480 days from the date of issuance of Letter of Award (LOA) to the contractor

To bid for this project, among other qualifications, SGEL sought bidders which has executed grid connected Wind Power Projects on EPC basis for cumulative capacity of 30 MW or higher. The develop this project, the bidder is expected to have experience in developing one plant/project of 10 MW or higher capacity.
