While in 2021, India added 1246.3 MW of wind energy and in 2020 India added, 618.97 MW of wind energy. From 2020 to 2021, Indian wind energy capacity saw a growth of 101.35%. Whereas, from 2021 to 2022 we can see a growth in Indian wind energy capacity by 27%. After solar energy, wind energy holds the major share in the global renewable energy segment. September -2022 vs August 2022 In September 2022, India added 461.4 MW of Wind energy. Comparing it with what India added in August 2022, we can see a growth of 48%. Q2 of CY-2022 vs Q3 of CY-2022 In the Q1 of FY-22, India added a total of 430.45 MW of wind energy. Whereas in Q2 of FY-22, India added 878.05 MW of Wind energy. In the second quarter, the wind energy capacity of India showed exponential growth of 103.98%.
