GSECL Issues Tender for Prep of Study Report of 1500 MW Floating Solar Park

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd (GSECL) has issued a tender for the appointment of consultant for providing consultancy services for preparation of feasibility study report & detailed project report for setting up of 1500 MW floating solar park.

The feasibility study will look at the identification of the techno-commercial project site for the park. The location for the floating solar park will be shared once the tender is finalised with the successful bidder.

A detailed project report is required to study identified and selected projects based on the feasibility study.

The tender is valued at INR 68300000. The EMD is INR 683000. The tender document fee is INR 11800. 

The tender closes on June 1, 2023. The tender opens on the same day.

The bidders who have completed a feasibility study and detailed project report for floating solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 100 MW in the last seven years in India can bid for the project. Firms with an average annual turnover of INR 67.5 million in the last three financial years can apply.

Earlier, GSECL had floated a tender to install power plants in different locations in Gujarat with a cumulative capacity of 60 MW wind power plant. Previously, it had invited bids for consultancy service for “rate contract for feasibility study, preparation of DFR/DPR and providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for setting up of the floating solar plant in Gujarat at various locations by GSECL for two years.”
