GSECL Floats Tender for 60 MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has floated tender to install power plants in different locations in Gujarat with a cumulative capacity of 60 MW wind power plant. 

For all three tenders, the last date for submitting the online bid is November 18, 2022, & the bid will be opened on the same day.

This 60 MW wind plant tender includes the scope of work in design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with 20 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance on a turnkey basis. 

The bidders must have experience in the same kind of work with ground-mounted wind power projects connected to the grid within the previous five years. The projects must comprise transmission line construction, switchyard/substation bay, design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance of grid-connected wind power plants. 

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X Capacity in MW bidder is bidding X 0.7 = X Cr. 

The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be positive & not be less than 100% of the paid-up share capital, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)

Recently, Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd (GSECL) invited bids for consultancy services for “rate contract for feasibility study, preparation of DFR/DPR and providing project management consultancy (PMC) services for setting up of the floating solar plant in Gujarat at various locations by GSECL for two years.”
