GREW Solar Set To Establish 3 GW Solar Cell, Module Unit In MP

GREW Solar, a Chiripal Group venture, is poised to establish a three-stage backward integrated manufacturing unit in Bhopal for solar module production. The company is committed to investing Rs. 3000 crores for the project. Located at Narmadapuram (near Bhopal-MP), the facility spans over a total area of 60 acres. The project is projected to have an annual capacity to produce 3 GW of solar cells.  This can aid in meeting the PV solar cell and module demands within the country.

The company announced its recent plans in Rajasthan soon after it rebranded itself.  Grew at the onset of 2025, announced its evolution into two focused entities GREW Solar and GREW Renewables. While GREW Solar will concentrate on solar PV module & solar cell manufacturing, GREW Renewables will be dedicated to executing small and large EPC projects. The company’s recent announcement would further impetus to expand its presence in Bhopal.

GREW Expands Second Unit In Jaipur, Rajasthan

Upon launching operations in Narmadapuram, GREW Solar can provide employment opportunities to over 1000 people in and around the region. In addition to the capacity building initiative, GREW Solar recently commenced operations of the second unit in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and has started the construction of their next phase – 3 unit. The high-tech facility in Jaipur that adheres to international standards and features world-class automated machinery will bring the Grew Solar Jaipur plant’s total capacity of 8 GW.
