Coimbatore-based renewable energy player Greentech and Italian energy firm Enel Green Power have signed an agreement under which Greentech will handle operations and maintenance of wind turbines installed and commissioned by Enel Green in the state of Gujarat. The Enel wind farm has a power generating capacity of 150 MW and it employs 100 Suzlon S82-1,500 KW wind turbines. According to reports, the two companies have signed the O&M agreement for a three years-period. Founded in 2007, Greentech started its business with less than one megawatt of turbine fleet. Today, the company says that it has more than 400 MW of wind energy projects in operation and the company is present in nine wind energy producing states.
