Green Stocks Sep 25: Stocks Buck Market Trend, KPI Green Sole Outlier With 5% Jump green stocks

On a day when the broader markets seemed to struggle to stay in green territory, our Green energy stocks seemed exhausted from the hot run in the recent past. Thus, Waaree RTL, after almost 6 days of relentless rise, corrected a full 3% and more. SWREL, Adani Green also gave up some gains today. Tata Power recovered smartly towards the days close to recover almost all its losses, much like solar water pump maker and EPC, Shakti Pumps did. The two wind energy firms, Inox Wind and Suzlon both saw a correction as well, after the sharp run-up through August and most of September.

It is clear that barring the announcement of large order wins, it will be the quarterly results that will serve as the next big trigger.

Even as the market prepares to welcome the big daddy of India’s solar manufacturing, Waaree Energies to the public markets. Waaree’s issue has finally been approved, and an October launch and listing seems very likely. Expect subscription records to be tested, to be challenged very quickly when the IPO of the other big one-NTPC Green Energy, follows shortly after in November.
