Green Stocks Sep 18: Weather Another Volatile Market Session Green Energy Stocks

On a day when the only news the stock market are waiting for is the US fed move on interest rates, our green pack reflected the market movements, more or less. Of course, what’s a day without a stock hitting the upper circuit? It was Waaree RTL yet again doing the needful for the third successive day, although the climb was a trifle tougher today as twice, when trading resumed, it slipped below the circuits as well. That would seem to signal a consolidation, if not a small correction tomorrow, but by then, the Fed decision would also have come in. So who knows, a fourth upper circuit perhaps? Giving Waaree RTL some company was Premier Energies, which finally reversed its price correction to rise almost 2% today. With its obvious strengths and expansion plans, Premier does seem more likely than many recent listings to hold on to its post-listing gains.

So will a Fed rate cut support green stocks? Of course, they will, considering how firms will be using domestic as well as international markets to borrow soon, to support hectic growth plans. And of the broader markets rise, you can be sure that our green pack will be right up there leading the charge.
