Green Stocks November 5: It’s Waaree All The Way As Waaree Twins Enjoy Day In The Sun By Chitrika Grover/ Updated On Tue, Nov 5th, 2024 green stocks As expected, results season is proving to be key to sustaining the terrific run of green energy stocks. While results on expected lines have even been punished somewhat thanks to the high expectations, stocks delivering strong sets of numbers are holding on to gains. Today saw SJVN deliver a steady set of numbers, helping reverse an extended slide in the stock price. On the other hand, the EPC from the Waaree stable, Waaree RTL is locked into the upper circuit on hopes of a stellar set of numbers for Q2 from the firm. Or maybe it was the rub off from parent Waaree Energies, which enjoyed a huge 14% plus vote of confidence into its stock price and prospects. Premier Energies also rose 9.61%. So much so that only Sterling and Wilson Renewable seemed to have a poor day, in terms of quantum of losses over 1%. With the US elections casting a long shadow over the market, expect volatility to continue through the week, as the world’s most consequential democracy waits to deliver a verdict.
