In a volatile market, our green ack suffered losses almost across the board, with just Premier Energies and KPI Green managing to show gains. Many other stocks that started the day strongly, weakened as the day wore on, and eventually succumbed to the broader market sentiment. Sterling and Wilson Renewable was the only other stock in the pack that tried to stay in the green. The acquisition announcement of a significant part of O2 Power’s portfolio by the listed JSW Energy will reassure investors, as JSW Energy has been a relatively conservative player in the sector until recently.
A number of stocks are moving into territory that was considered bargain prices not too long ago, and it remains to be seen what finally emerges from the current consolidation and correction- Greed or fear. Suffice to say, as we keep stressing, the broader story remains solid, and expect news-based movements going ahead as well from here.
