UP Govt extends Solar vision concludes the North India Solar Summit By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Mon, Mar 14th, 2016 Just after UP state govt. proposed a mini-grid solar policy and rooftop solar power policy to change sentiments on clean and renewable energy, manifesting confidant towards solar energy the state has recently hosted the 3rd edition of the North India Solar Summit. Organised by Indian Industries Association (IIA) underlined the emerging business and trade opportunities in the solar and renewable energy segments in Uttar Pradesh. About 50 companies partook in the three-day summit discussing the large untapped potential in the sector, both domestic and commercial. The summit would witness the participation of equipment suppliers, distributors, advisory groups, support agencies, apart from related government departments and agencies.
