Godrej & Boyce Bags Tender for Durgapur Solar Project of 20 MW

A 20 MW tender has been won by Godrej & Boyce- a Godrej Group firm

Durgapur Projects Ltd had floated an e-tender cum reverse auction for design and engineering, manufacture, procurement, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of total 20 MW (ph i 8 MW, ph ii 7 MW and ph iii 5 MW) grid connected ground mounted solar photovoltaic power plants at Durgapur.

The 20 MW project has been bagged by Godrej & Boyce– a Godrej Group firm. The other bidders who participated in the tender included Laser Power & Infra Pvt Ltd, Lumino Industries Ltd. and Vikran Engineering And Exim Pvt. Ltd.

The contract winner has to complete the EPC work within twelve months from the zero date.

The total cost of the project is Rs 395,600,000.

Recently, West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd issued a tender cum reverse auction for design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 22.5 MW grid connected floating solar photovoltaic power plants on different water ponds at BkTPS, STPS & SgTPP of WBPDCL, West Bengal including warrantee obligation with 05 (Five) years comprehensive operation and maintenance on turnkey basis.
