Gensol Engineering Appoints Binaya Panda COO For Its Solar EPC Arm

Gensol Engineering has now appointed Binaya Bhushan Panda as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Gensol Solar EPC, the solar business segment of the company, the company said.

Panda has experience in solar, wind, thermal and energy sector areas. The company in a statement said, “With over 22 years of experience spanning Thermal, Solar, Wind (ISTS), Cement, T&D Substation, and Regulations sectors, including a decade focused on Renewable Energy, Binaya brings a wealth of knowledge and a steadfast commitment to sustainable energy. He is recognized for his strategic planning, precise execution, and adept oversight of complex business operations. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership in contract management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance throughout his career.”

Gensol said that Binaya previously led the Business Planning & Strategy Cell for Renewable Business at the Aditya Birla Group. His professional journey includes significant contributions at Welspun, Lanco, Avantha, and Gridco, where he held pivotal roles that have shaped the industry, it added.
