GE signs contract with TSK to provide 220MW LV5 series 1,000-volt solar inverters By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Wed, May 4th, 2016 GE’s Power Conversion business has signed a contract with TSK to provide 220-megawatt (MW) LV5 series 1,000-volt solar inverters and has established the possibility to expand the collaboration for future possible projects with the LV5 series solar inverters. Both the companies have been strategic partners in thermal power plant and wind businesses. With the new deal partnership expands into solar PV industry. GE will provide 220-megawatt (MW) LV5 Series solar inverters for Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) solar project in Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. GE will supply outdoor solar SKIDs to Spanish engineering, procurement and construction company TSK to be installed at the DEWA site, with GE’s scope of work including LV5 Series inverters, transformers and switchgears.
