US-Based FTC Solar Brings Hail Stow Solution For Hailstorm Damage Solar Panel manufacturer Gautam Solar has announced that it has delivered 60 MW solar panel modules under the PM Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (KUSUM) Yojana. The company said that it has delivered these high-efficiency solar panels and that they are indigenously made. Gautam Solar’s 10BB Mono PERC Solar Panels embed larger M10 cells for enhanced power generation, multi-busbar technology to minimize electrical losses, round ribbon connectors for improved light utilization, bifacial technology enabling power generation from both sides, non-destructive cell cutting for improved reliability and lower chances of micro-cracks, and half-cut cell technology for superior low-light performance. On the delivery of panels, Gautam Mohanka, Managing Director of Gautam Solar Private Limited said, “Gautam Solar has played a key role in helping the country’s energy transition goals by supplying high-quality BIS and ALMM-approved solar modules to solar power plants & government-supported programme. We believe that to achieve sustainable development, it is important to develop a domestic supply chain for renewable energy to meet the rising energy demand in the country.” The official press release also noted that Gautam Solar is in the process of increasing its capacity to 5 GW with the addition of a new fully automated robotic manufacturing facility in Bhiwani, Haryana. The manufacturer also added, “The government has set major sustainability targets, including increasing renewable energy capacity to 500 GW by 2030 (such that renewables constitute 50% of the energy mix) and reaching Net Zero emissions by 2070. To go about this, it has launched several schemes, of which PM-KUSUM Yojana is a prominent one.
