Gamesa bags 12MW Solar Deal in Tamil Nadu By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Fri, Mar 4th, 2016 Spanish renewable provider, Gamesa announces a successful solar deal of commissioning 112MW in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Through this photovoltaic (PV) project, the company will provide engineering and design services, supply inverters, implement the actual installation and commission the solar PV parks. Previously, The latest order expands the company’s Indian solar power portfolio to 60 MW. In late January, Gamesa unveiled a deal to build a 15-MW solar farm in Tamil Nadu. So far, the company has commissioned a total of 12 MW of solar capacity in the Asian nation. Gamesa’s expansion into the solar sector aligns with its goal to explore opportunities in businesses that complement the wind industry, added the company.
