GameChange Solar Announces Tracker Factory, Increases USA Capacity By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Mon, Aug 8th, 2022 Gensol Subsidiary–Scorpius Trackers Achieves 1 GW+ Contracted Orders US based manufacturer of solar racking systems, GameChange Solar has announced that it will unveil a new line of 6 GW trackers. The new products will kickstart operations in the Midwest in February next year. This move will further enable GameChange Solar to further expand its footprint in the US market, which is witnessing rapid growth. The state-of-the-art, highly automated facility will augment GameChange Solar’s US tracker capacity to 14 GW. Derick Botha, Commercial Director of GameChange Solar, said, “As our customers grow their businesses, GameChange is committed to continuing to grow its large manufacturing base in the United States to enable fast deliveries and flexibility in our supply chain.” It was only a month back that the company had received three new Genius Tracker system orders, whose aggregate total was 400 MW, providing power to more than 62,000 homes in Texas. This had a significant impact on the manufacturer’s Texas sales, which transcended 3.5 GW. The orders came from a leading US-based EPC company, Bridgelink Engineering, based in Fort Worth, Texas. The solar power plant locations were placed in a strategic manner, next to urban cities of Houston and Dallas, which see a constantly rising demand for energy. The company had also shared on the occasion that GameChange Solar had no intentions of slowing down in the rapidly Texas-based expanding market. It further shared that the company had multiple systems in the offing already with many shipments scheduled for the latter part of this year.
