Freyr Energy Launches App to aid Solar Rooftop Business

‘Freyr SunPro 2.0’, which is an upgraded version of Freyr SunPro launched last year, will help entrepreneurs run their solar business.

Freyr Energy, a Hyderabad start-up working in the solar energy sector has recently launched an app to help those who are aspiring to foray in rooftop solar system business.

‘Freyr SunPro 2.0’, which is an upgraded version of Freyr SunPro launched last year, will help entrepreneurs run their solar business with ease helping break down bottlenecks such as lack of technical knowledge and the capital requirement.

The platform runs on algorithms developed by the Freyr team which takes into account factors such as local solar radiation, solar policy, other available energy sources, space availability, financial assistance requirement etc,.

Apart from helping people in the business, the app will also be of a great help to the consumers looking forward to install solar rooftop system.

“Our technology helps individuals and MSMEs to start and run their solar business with minimal investment,” co-founder and managing director Saurabh Marda said.

Director (Business Development) Radhika said “the app helped business associates manage without either an inventory or brick and mortar office and with minimal investment as once consumer order details are fed in the app, the company would facilitate the implementation.”

Radhika also expects the app to also aid Freyr Energy’s plans to spread their business to at least 10 countries in the next one year.
