The plants are expected to generate around 215 GW a year which will help in reduction of 175,000 tons of Co2 emission. The project has a 25-year power-purchase agreement. In the state of Karnataka five solar photovoltaic plants are coming up and the Solarpack via its subsidiary Ekialde Solar Pvt Ltd has been selected to develop them by 2019. The five new solar parks in India, located in the towns of Afzalpur, Chincholi, Holenarsipura, Nanjangund and Yelandur, will enter operation in September 2019. The plants are expected to generate around 215 GW a year which will help in reduction of 175,000 tons of Co2 emission. The project has a 25-year power-purchase agreement. As of now Solarpack has six solar photovoltaic plants in India that generate a total of 104 MW. It has commissioned 37 MWp across seven locations in Spain, 67 MWp in seven solar plants in Chile, 62 MWp in another three plants in Peru and 26 MWp in a solar park in Uruguay.
