In its results, shared before the exchanges, the company has reported a surge in its profit, both on a quarterly basis and also on a yearly basis. Tata Power reported an increase in its profit for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year 2025 (FY25). The company’s net profit for Q3 FY25 stood at Rs 1,187.54 crore, marking a 10.37% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to Rs 1,076.12 crore in Q3 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, net profit increased by 8.63% from Rs 1,093.08 crore in Q2 FY25, showcasing consistent profitability. Revenue Performance Shows Stability Tata Power reported a total revenue of Rs 15,793.43 crore in Q3 FY25, reflecting a 3.26% YoY growth from Rs 15,294.80 crore in Q3 FY24. However, on a QoQ basis, revenue witnessed a slight decline of 2.57% compared to Rs 16,210.80 crore in Q2 FY25. Consolidated financial performance of Tata Power Consolidated EBITDA during the quarter rose 7% to ₹ 3,481 crore on the back of solid contributions and operational efficiency across businesses. For the 9MFY25 period, the Company clocked a Revenue and PAT* of ₹ 47,174 crore and ₹ 3,909 crore respectively. The 9-month period also saw the EBITDA reach its all-time high at ₹ 10,639 crore. As an integrated power company, we offer complete energy services towards our portfolio of generation, transmission and distribution solutions to provide affordable power for all.” As of 31st December 2024, the Company’s operational capacity is 6.7 GW in the clean & green segment, generating 11,700+ MUs of green power.
