Enphase Energy Forays into Poland; Inks Distribution Pact with SmartX

Enphase Energy, a solar microinverters specialist, has forayed into Poland via a distribution partnership with SmartX, a solar microinverters distributor in Poland.

The company’s move of entering into Poland is significant as currently, the country has one of the top 5 solar markets in Europe, with an estimated installed capacity of over 1 GW.

Commenting on the collaboration, Piotr Redkiewicz, CEO at SmartX, said that “we are excited to work with Enphase to further the growth of solar throughout Poland.”

“Enphase microinverters offer unique advantages for European solar markets, particularly in new build and small residential systems due to their scalable architecture, and significantly enhance the customer experience in terms of quality and performance,” added Redkiewicz.

Further, the installer network of SmartX across Poland offers both residential and small commercial microinverter systems, utilizing  Enphase IQ 7™ family of microinverters including IQ 7, IQ 7+™ and IQ 7X™.

Moreover, it’s residential solar systems are outfitted with Enphase Envoy™ communications gateways, which connect an Enphase-based solar system to the Enphase Enlighten™ monitoring platform and helps make per-panel energy monitoring and insights for operations and maintenance (O&M) easy.

Besides, the microinverters manufacturer claimed that its products are subjected to rigorous reliability and quality testing regimen with over an aggregated 1 million hours of cumulative power-on testing to ensure exceptional performance under heat, high humidity, salty air, and extreme cold.

Meanwhile, Enphase microinverters are designed to be long-lived energy assets and are backed by a 25-year limited warranty.

In April this year, Enphase had entered into a microinverter supply agreement with Soual-headquartered Courant Naturel, a fast-growing residential solar installer serving residential solar customers in the southwest region in France.
