The Enphase-Salcomp unit has emerged as India’s largest solar inverter manufacturer by numbers with an annual capacity of more than 6 million units. Based at Salcomp SEZ in Sriperumbudur near Chennai, it produces the Enphase IQ Microinverters, which are currently being exported, thus making the unit one of the largest solar equipment exporters in India by the number of units. The Enphase IQ microinverters are some of the most advanced solar inverters in the market that enhance solar energy output while making the entire solar energy system more reliable, efficient, and safer. Every microinverter is powered by semiconductor integration, predictive control, and a technically configurable architecture. And each microinverter undergoes rigorous functional and reliability testing.
