Emmvee Group Adds 795.4 MWp Topcon DCR Module Order for NTPC Khavda Project

MNRE To Verify DCR Claims Of Solar Modules, Launches Website

Fresh off its sterling performance in the Kiwa PVEL module scorecard, Emmvee Group has announced a landmark 795.4 MWp Topcon DCR Module Supply Order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. This agreement is part of NTPC’s ambitious 1255 MW Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat, marking a significant milestone in the renewable energy sector.

The deal underscores Emmvee Group ‘s emergence as a key leader in the solar manufacturing industry. With over three decades of expertise in solar technology, Emmvee is set to deliver high-efficiency Topcon modules, enhancing the performance and reliability of NTPC’s Khavda Solar Project.

Based in Bangalore with a total production capacity of 3 GW Emmvee is also poised to commission a 1.5 GW Topcon wafer-to-cell manufacturing plant in the coming months. Emmvee was the only Indian manufacturer and one of four globally to achieve top performer in all Kiwa PVEL PQP Testing Categories recently.

The high ranking is expected to support the company’s export efforts significantly, besides helping bag more deals in India as well. This will also take total module orders placed with Indian manufacturers to over 3 GW in the first quarter of the new financial year.
