According to the tender document, all solar modules should be poly-crystalline & the capacity of all modules should be 330 WP or above. The last date to submit the bid is October 17, 2022, till 11:00 am & the bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 pm. A Joint Venture of NTPC Limited, Power Finance Corporation, REC and POWERGRID- Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL)- has floated a tender for 24 MW solar modules supply for Maharashtra. According to the tender document, all solar modules should be poly-crystalline & the capacity of all modules should be 330 WP or above. The modules are to be made from 72 polycrystalline silicon solar cells which must have been manufactured domestically. The last date to submit the bid is October 17, 2022, till 11:00 and the bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 pm. This solar modules tender includes the scope of work in the design, manufacture, testing, and supply of solar PV modules in various districts in the State of Maharashtra. According to the terms of this RFP document, the work must be completed within three months after the date of the award. Each interested bidder will have to be submitted Rs. 1.18 crore as an Earnest Money Deposit. The selected bidder will be required to submit 10% of the EPC contract price within 15 days of the Letter of Intent validity period of 24 months from the date of the LoI’s issuance. The suppliers must also provide a warranty for the modules for 5 years and 6 months from the date of supply against manufacturing defects and must provide free replacements. Further, the PV Module must be warranted for its output peak watt capacity, which should not be less than 90 percent at the end of 10 years and 80 percent at the end of 25 years. Free replacements are also to be provided against non-performance. The quantity quoted in the tender is for the supply of 24 MW of poly-crystalline modules, however, EESL has stated that it may increase/ decrease the tender quantity as per its requirement.
