Eastern Railway Floats Tender for 3 MW Solar Power Project Under PPP Model By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Nov 15th, 2022 Highlights : Malda Division (Eastern Railway) has floated the solar tender for the installation of 3MW on grid roof /shed top/ Rly Vacant land solar power plant under the PPP model at the different locations under the jurisdiction of SSE/E/G/BGP in a turnkey basis with the net metering facility. The last date for submitting the online bid is December 12, 2022, till 11:00 am and the bid will be opened on the same day at 12:30 pm. This 3 MW solar tender includes the scope of the work of setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 34,810.00 (including 18% GST) as a cost of the tender document, which is non-refundable. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 75,000 per MW (excluding 18% GST) as a bid processing fee, which is also non-refundable. The awarded bidder must pay Rs. 10.68 lakhs per MW as an earnest money deposit. The selected bidder also must provide Rs 16.02 Lakh/MW as a performance bank guarantee (PBG) after the issuance of the letter of intent and before signing the power purchase agreement (PPA). The successful bidder must have a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 150 lakhs during the previous financial year i.e., FY 2021-22, or as on the date at least 7 days before the due date of bid submission.
