The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited bids for flexible solar panels and accessories for alternative renewable power generation system for mounting on a container for mobile field application. The system will have the photovoltaic (PV) flexible solar panels along with the charge controller. The total capacity of the system will be 10 kW at 48 volts. The high efficient mono-crystalline silicon cells based solar PV panels shall be used. Total 36 solar panels of 300 to 330 watt each and 6 MPPT charge controllers of 60 Amp, 48 Volt DC each, shall be used for total power generation. The last date of bid submission is April 17, 2019, and the bids will be opened on April 18, 2019. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 30 thousand along with their bids. The brief scope of work for selected bidders will include the planning, design, construction and commissioning of the solar power plants along with the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the projects for a period of five years.
