CPWD installs solar panels on the rooftop of its office in Belapur, Mumbai By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Wed, Aug 10th, 2016 The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has installed 88.2 kWp (kilowatts peak power) solar plant on the rooftop of its office in Belapur. The 88.2 kWp solar plant executed by Pune-based Company CleanMax Solar spreads across 880 sq m and has been integrated with the conventional grid. The solar plant is said to generate 1.2 lakhs kWh annually. Speaking to TOI– Kamal Preet Singh Special, director general, CPWD said, “We are pleased to be associated with the project.
