The facility is at Ahmedabad- Mumbai Highway NH8 within boundaries of Surat City. It is currently running with an annual production capacity of 125MW, which is soon expected to be 270 MW per annum. Gujarat-based Cosmic PV Power has started producing high-efficiency solar modules at full capacity at its new Surat plant. The factory can produce up to 450Wp high efficient Modules by using single & multi-crystalline cells. The company is especially focusing more on making efficient Mono PERC Products. In recent time, the demand for solar photovoltaic modules has been increased exponentially, one the reasons being supportive government policies and increasing awareness among the public at large. Growing markets and emerging technologies have compelled many to start solar manufacturing, says Shravan Gupta, Founder and Director of Cosmic PV Power Private Limited. Jenish Ghael Managing Director of Cosmic PV Power, said, “We are manufacturing 330-335Wp poly crystalline modules, 400 Wp mono perc modules and up to 450Wp modules with 144 half cut cell in 5BB technology. And very soon we are going to manufacture up to 540Wp solar modules in 9BB & 10BB technology. “As existing technologies are evolving and many new technologies are emerging to meet market demands, our R&D Team are focusing on innovations, to introduce the highest efficiency solar modules in market, which generates a higher return on investments for our customers.
