Coal India Arm Issues 100 KWp Solar Tender for Nagpur By Manu Tayal/ Updated On Sat, Nov 23rd, 2019 Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd (CMPDI), an arm of state-run Coal India Ltd (CIL), has issued a tender for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 100 kWp (10 sets X 10 kWp) capacity grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant. As per the tender details, this solar energy power plant will be mounted on rising structure without battery back up at the rooftop of residential quarters building of CMPDI, Regional Institute – IV at Jaripatka in Nagpur. Further, the cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 55 lakh and earnest money will be Rs 68,800. However, the period of completion of work will be 60 days. The last date and time for submitting bids will be December 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. If number of bids received will be less than three, the bid submission end date will be extended initially for two days, however, if still less than three bids will be received, the end date will be extended by another five days automatically by the system.
