Cleantech Solar Launches 150 MWp Open Access Solar Park Project In Maharashtra Cleantech Solar Commissions 150 MWp Open Access Solar Park Project In Maharashtra

Cleantech Solar, a renewable energy solutions provider to corporations in India and Southeast Asia, recently commenced the commercial operation of its open-access solar PV projects for multiple clients at a solar park in Jalkot, Maharashtra. The park’s total capacity is ~150 MWp. It is Cleantech Solar’s sixth renewable energy park in Maharashtra.

Top industrial clients are sourcing green power from these projects on a captive basis to meet the energy demands of their manufacturing operations. The projects cater to diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, automotive, construction, and chemicals. The projects employ single-axis tracking systems to enhance generation efficiency.

Cleantech Solar’s renewable energy partnerships with customers at this renewable energy park are expected to generate approximately 4,977 GWh of clean energy throughout the projects’ lifetimes, reducing over 4,552 kilotonnes of CO₂ emissions. The projects are part of Cleantech Solar’s total portfolio of ~300 MWp in Maharashtra, which includes solar and wind power projects across operational and construction phases.

Sanjay Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of Cleantech Solar, said, “I am delighted to share the successful commissioning of these green energy projects for leading manufacturers. Our state-of-the-art solar park in Maharashtra harnesses cutting-edge technology to deliver high-quality renewable energy solutions, enabling our clients to reduce energy costs, embrace sustainable manufacturing, and make significant strides in lowering their carbon footprint. My heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved in bringing these projects to fruition!”
