Cleantech Solar Reaches Commercial Operation for Maiden Virtual Power Purchase Agreement

Cleantech Solar has revealed that it has commissioned a 3.4 MWp rooftop solar PV system. The project was undertaken for the manufacturing unit of Japanese firm Konica Minolta Business Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Malacca, Malaysia.

The PPA signed between the two firms will pave the path for Cleantech Solar to supply turnkey finance, design, installation, operation and maintenance of the PV system. The project is said to generate close to 66 GWh of clean energy during the lifetime of the system. It will curb almost 52 kilotonnes of carbon emissions.
