The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has issued a tender for the commissioning of solar power evacuation work at three substations of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) with the requirement of solar power plant construction. The scope of work for the selected bidders will include all land development activities, design, engineering, procurement & supply of equipment and materials required for solar power evacuation (including 11kV OH line & 11 kV U/G cable along with erection of 11 KV Bay and civil work), LT/DT line shifting pre-dispatch testing at manufacturers works, inspection, packing, forwarding, receipt, unloading, storage at site, associated civil works, services, permits, licenses, installation, incidentals, insurance at all stages, erection, testing and commissioning of equipments, performance demonstration with associated equipment and associated allied works at MSEDCL substations for power evacuation in the state of Maharashtra including two years guarantee period after commissioning of works and five years guarantee period for equipment for the work under full turnkey basis. The three sites are: Ansarwada Substation for Nilanga Division of Latur, Maharashtra; Panchincholi Substation for Nilanga Division of Latur, Maharashtra; 33/11 KV Hadgaon Pawade Substation for power Evacuation at Sailu Subdivision under Parbhani Division-Il of Parbhani Circle. To be eligible for the tender, the bidder must be an EPC contractor who has earlier executed work or executing work of solar power plant in CEL in the state of Maharashtra or any other approved MSEDCL vendor for solar power evacuation and land development. The last date of bid submission is April 15, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The estimated cost of the complete project is Rs 2.5 crores. All bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 5 lakhs along with their bids. The selected bidders will then have a period of 3 months to complete the work on the project.
