CEL Issues Tender For 315 kW Solar Power Plant in Uttar Pradesh By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Wed, Mar 13th, 2019 The last date of bid submission is March 22, 2019. The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has issued a tender inviting online bids from eligible parties for the deployment of 315 kWp grid-connected solar PV power plant at its campus in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh. The brief scope of work for selected bidder(s) will include the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and providing warranty for a period of 5 years for the 315 kWp solar power system. The last date of bid submission is March 22, 2019, and the bids will be opened on the same date. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1.5 lakhs along with their bids. And the work on the project should be completed in a period of 3 months from the issue of the work order. To be eligible for participating in the tender, the bidder should agree to supply the materials and complete the work as per CEL’s specifications and terms & conditions. In February, CEL floated tender inviting bids for the implementation of 11.12 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) premises across India. The rooftop project will be developed under the government’s Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) which now has a target of 100,000 MW of grid solar power by 2022, and will be set up under the RESCO mode. The tariff cap for the sites falling under general category states and union territories is Rs 7/kWh while for the sites falling under special category states and Its the cap is fixed at Rs 4.82/kWh. More recently, the PSU issued another tender for deployment of solar power evacuation at Ansarwada Substation for Nilanga subdivision of Latur Circle, Maharashtra.
