CEL Extends Tender Deadline for Supply of BOS for 2×15 KWp Solar Mini Grid in Bihar JREDA issues tender for 47 mini grid installation in Singhbhum

State-owned Central Electronics Ltd (CEL) has extended the date for submission of tender for supply of balance of systems (BoS) for 2×15 KWp solar mini-grid in Bihar to May 25, 2020.

This is the third time that government has extended the bid submission date for the tender amidst continued lockdown across the country. Now, eligible bidders can apply for the tender up to 14:30 hours by May 25, 2020, the earlier submission date was May 11, 2020.

The scope of the tender includes the supply of BOS for revamping, installation and commissioning of 2x15KWp solar mini-grid at Bahasa Pipra village in Gaya district of Bihar.

Further, the Earnest Money Deposited (EMD) for the tender is fixed at Rs 73,000.

For the eligibility criteria, bidder must be in solar PV business for at least last 3 years and must have supplied, installed and commissioned cumulative 30KWp solar power plant directly or indirectly for any government organization in last 3 years.

Also, the bidder company must be registered under the GST in the state of Bihar. However, in case, the bidder doesn’t have the GST registration in Bihar, he must submit the undertaking that GST registration certificate of Bihar will be provided within 15 days from the date of the purchase order.

Besides, the bidding firm must-do site survey and submit the site survey report along with the bid.

For work execution schedule, the works i.e. supply of material, installation and commissioning, documentation and handing over must be completed within 5 weeks of issue of the purchase order.

Recently, the Government of India (GoI) has also extended the last date for submitting bids for the divestment of CEL up to May 16, 2020, from its previous date of April 16, 2020.
