BSUL Seeking Consultants for 1200 MW Solar Project in Uttar Pradesh By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Tue, Jan 5th, 2021 BSUL is seeking consultants for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report for the development of a 1200 MW solar park in Uttar Pradesh. Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL), a joint venture company of NHPC Ltd and the Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), has issued a tender, seeking consultants for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development of 1200 MW solar park in the Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh. BSUL was formed with the objective of developing solar power projects and other conventional and non-conventional power projects entrusted to it by the state government. The firm is presently undertaking the development of solar projects of about 316 MW capacity at four locations with the projects at different stages of approval. And now, the agency intends to expand its proposed capacity by setting up a proposed 1200 MW solar park under the Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Park (UMREPP) scheme of MNRE. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be intimated later to the bidders whose techno-commercial bids will be found responsive. To be eligible, the bidders: must have experience in providing consultancy services for the development of renewable energy park and /or project of cumulative capacity of 500 MW. scope of work of previous experiences shall include preparation of feasibility reports, Detailed Project Report, basic and detailed engineering services, wind and solar resource assessment, estimation of energy yield and optimisation of plot sizing and layout, etc. as owners engineer. The bidder must have carried out consultancy work of at least 500 MW capacity work cumulatively in the past 5 years. should possess required licensed software like WAsP, Wind Pro, PVSyst, Meteonorm, etc., for evaluation of energy estimation. Financially, the average annual turnover of the Consultancy Services Business of the bidder in the preceding three financial years should be Rs 1 crore and above. And their average annual net worth should be at least Rs 20 lakh over the same period.
