BREDA Invites Bids For 200 MW Rooftop Solar Project Across Gov. Buildings In Bihar

Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency, (BREDA) has released a tender for grid – connected rooftop solar power plants of various capacity. This project was released under CAPEX model for an estimated capacity of 200 MW at various government buildings in the state of Bihar.

BREDA’s  tender invited bids through national competitive bidding process (NCB). It invited bids for design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning including warranty, comprehensive operation and maintenance of solar project for five years. It included warranty, comprehensive operation and maintenance of five years of grid- connected rooftop solar power plants.

The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is for Rs. 1 Crore

BREDA tender document cost is Rs. 11,800/- inclusive GST @ 18% (Non-Refundable)

The Start Date of Online Sale of Tender Document – 24/04/2024 at 11 .00 Hrs. onwards

Pre-Bid Meeting Date (Physical) – 08/05/2024 at 11 .00 Hrs.

Last Date of Online submission of Tender Document – Up to 23:30 Hrs. of 27.05.2024

The minimum capacity to be quoted by the bidder must be 10 MW.

The bidder should have cumulative experience of executed more than 05 MW SPV Solar Power Plant in India in government sector during last 5 years from the date of submission of bid. 

The document stated, “Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) of Rs. 15 Crore in the last 03 financial years (i.e. 2020-21, 2021-22 & 2022-23 or as applicable). (The bidder should submit an Audited Financial Statement having UDIN of CA firm issued by ICAI.”

Additionally, “The bidder shall also have to furnish their line of credit of 05 Crore and the Banker should confirm that the Credit facility is earmarked for the Works specified under Bid on receipt of the Bid. Line of Credit would include unincumbered cash (and
equivalents), bank deposits with maturity less than 365 days, securities that can be freely traded or maturity less than 365 days
and receivables which has general certainty of getting received minus payables which has general certainty of getting paid.”
