Once completed, this project is expected to generate approximately 93 million units of electricity per year, effectively offsetting more than 85 thousand tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. Dalmia Bharat holds 26% in BluPine Energy SPV. This partnership underscores BluPine Energy’s commitment to providing reliable solutions to commercial and industrial (CandI) customers seeking to implement net-zero and carbon-neutral strategies. The deal brings BluPine Energy’s renewable energy capacity to 2.4 GW, comprising approximately 400 MW of CandI projects in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, marking a significant milestone in expanding the company’s sustainable energy portfolio. With our extensive experience in the sector, we are committed to working with stakeholders to create an enabling environment for C&I open-access projects nationwide.” Recently, BluPine Energy announced the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with APL Apollo Building Products (a wholly owned subsidiary of APL Apollo Tubes Limited), India’s largest structural steel tubes & pipes manufacturing company. The pact was signed for the establishment of a 61.65 MW solar plant in Chhattisgarh. APL Apollo along with other off-takers will hold a 26% stake under the group captive structure in the SPV of BluPine Energy for this project, elevating BluPine’s C&I capacity to about 400MW, with a target of reaching 1000MW soon.
