BHEL Issues Tender For Work on 119 MW Solar Projects For SCCL

BHEL has issued a tender for the supply of BOS items and O&M of three solar projects worth a combined 119 MW for SCCL

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) has issued a tender for the supply of Balance of Solar PV Systems (BOS) items and operations and maintenance of three solar projects worth a combined 119 MW for Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL).

The scope of work for the selected bidders will involve the supply BOS items (besides solar modules), installation, testing and commissioning of the solar plants at Ramagundam 50 MW, Yellandu 39 MW and Manuguru 30 MW. The selected developers will also be responsible for providing comprehensive operation and maintenance for the plants.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 31.56 crore for the three project sites and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 24 lakhs along with their bids as bid security amount.

The last date for bid submission is July 5, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date.

The work on different parts of the tender must be completed in the following schedule:

a) Drawing/quality plan submission- 1 week from date of work order,

b) Supply – 6 weeks from date of drawing approval, PSI call date shall be considered as the delivery date for penalty purpose,

c) I&C- 6 weeks from date of supply.

To be eligible for bidding, the vendor should have executed contracts of indoor/outdoor electrical installation of 33kV minimum in power plants or sub-stations in India with scope including both supply, erection & commissioning for cumulative value of minimum Rs 6 crores with such individual contract values not less than Rs 3 crore within last three years from date of tender opening. And, should have completed execution of at least one O&M contract in India in electrical installations of 33KV and above for one-year minimum within the last three years from the date of tender opening.

Additionally, the vendor should have achieved a minimum annual average financial turnover of Rs 6 crore in the last three financial years (16-17, 17-18 and 18-19).
